ABOUT
DJ CORY P
DJ Cory P has been DJ'ing since 1999 and is known for his unprecedented open format style. Under the tutelage of DJ Andy Farro (former resident DJ at the original Studio 54 nightclub in NYC), he quickly grasped the philosophy on being a Disc Jockey. Cory P incorporated Farro's methods with the unique open format style that was created over at the world's greatest arena of college bars known as the "Hofstra Strip" (across from Hofstra University). His experience there helped him to go above and beyond just "club" music, mixing every genre into his sets.
It all began when Cory P started DJ'ing fraternity and sorority parties at Hofstra USA which almost immediately lead to a Saturday Night residency at Long Island's infamous college bar, Monterey's. His next stop was the craziest Happy Hour Promotion on the island, Chelsea Street (now Savannah Lounge). During his tenure at Monterey's and Chelsea Street, he also did guest spots at Dublin Pub, Zachary Night Club, Copperfields, Bridgeview Yacht Club, Club Diesel, Mchebe's, Minnesota's, and numerous other bars and clubs on the Long Island. From 2003-2006, he also did a yearly guest DJ spot at America's greatest spring break destination, The Clevelander in South Beach, Miami FL.
In 2004, Cory P began to pursue his other passion of being a Producer/Filmmaker. He went to work for Vince McMahon and he slowed down on the guest spot circuit. Late 2005, he began a steady residency at a new and fresh venue known as The Nutty Irishman. He is currently the Saturday Night resident DJ at the Farmingdale location.
